It is the opinion of Subway Labs that if Africa must take its pride of place in the globe, then we must re-imagine and engineer a greater future
By 2030, Africa's pop. is estimated at 1.8 Billion. By 2050, over 80% will live in unplanned cities, which are currently unable to provide the opportunities that powered its growth in the first place.
The rate of urbanization in Africa is twice the global average. About 70% of the urban growth is unplanned. For instance, Nigeria has over 206 million people, hosting 5 of the 30 largest urban settlements on the continent, which are mostly unplanned
Sustainability of global economic investments in Africa will take firm root with Subway Labs' ongoing urban development projects.

The African International Roller Skating Championship is an annual game organised by Subway Labs to draw the attention of the world and the developing nations to the need to implement strategic policies geard towards the total reduction of CO2 emission especially from automobiles and other means of transportation in our cities, whether through Air, and and Sea. It is our first carbon neutral competition in the World
The U.S. transportation sector — which includes cars, trucks, planes, trains, and boats — now emits 1.9 billion tons of CO2 annually, while Africa’s total CO2 emissions from fuel combustion and transportation is now over 1.1 Billion metric tons annually
Transport is responsible for nearly 30% of the EU’s total CO2 emissions, of which 72% comes from road transportation. As part of efforts to reduce CO2 emissions, the EU has set a goal of reducing emissions from transport by 60% by 2050 compared to 1990 levels. CO2 emissions from passenger transport vary significantly depending on the transport mode. Passenger cars are a major polluter, accounting for 60.7% of total CO2 emissions from road transport in Europe.
Roller Skate was selected to represent every means of transportation that does not contribute to CO2 emision. Examples are electric cars, e-scooters, cycling, walking, etc. After the competition, the winners will lead the mission to plant 10 million new trees in a year across our regions of operation. Sustainability in our communities and cities can be achieved when our negative actions against the environment is reduced.
